Three Paint Colors for the Spring Season

Three Paint Colors for the Spring Season

Spring is here; the grass is growing, the flowers are blooming, the trees are budding, and the days are getting longer and warmer.  If you are like many other people, then you find that Spring is a time of awakening outside the home, and inside, as well.  Many people engage in Spring cleaning around this time of year; purging their homes of unneeded and unwanted items.  It is also a time of year when people begin home maintenance projects, in order to improve the environment all around them.  One way that you can enhance the area around you, is to paint sections around your home with light, bright colors that remind you of the beautiful, lively colors of Spring.  Below, you will find three paint ideas to use around your home, and suggestions on where to use them, too.

-Daffodil Yellow by Behr:  This neutral, light, and airy pale yellow can be used in about any room within the home.  It is a relaxing and muted shade of yellow, that gently reminds you of Spring colors, without being too overwhelming or obtrusive.  Daffodil Yellow blends nicely with a variety of other colors.  When paired with white trim work, the Daffodil Yellow stands out as a crisp, clean color.

-Celery by Sherwin-Williams:  Celery is a light, yet distinctive, green shade of paint that works well throughout the home.  Celery will work particularly nice in the kitchen, hallway, foyer, home office, or any other room where you want a peaceful, cheery, and airy appeal.  This pleasing shade of green blends nicely into the background, while pairing well with many types of furniture décor, wall hangings, and other decorative pieces.

-French Lilac by Benjamin Moore:  This pale, elegant shade of purple is a versatile choice for homeowners who are looking for a fresh, light shade of paint.  Purple may not be a conventional choice for everyone, but this purple option is crisp, clean, and airy.  It can brighten up almost any room, and it blends surprisingly well with numerous décor options.  This is certainly a nice option for those people who are trying to emulate the Spring colors all around us.
